South Bronx Classical I

Founded in 2006 in the South Bronx, Classical Charter Schools emerged from a community desire for high‑quality, tuition‑free education. The founders envisioned a network where classical principles—grammar, logic, rhetoric—could coexist with modern arts and technology. From a single school, we expanded to five campuses, each serving K‑8 and fostering a love of learning. Our mission is to prepare scholars for the best high schools in New York City through rigorous academics and character development. We believe that education should be accessible, equitable, and transformative for every student, regardless of background. Our faculty are dedicated teachers, deans, and staff who collaborate to create a supportive, culturally responsive environment.

Through community partnerships, field trips, and service projects, students gain real‑world experience and civic responsibility. The network’s success is reflected in high test scores, Blue Ribbon awards, and the achievements of our alumni. We continuously innovate, using data to refine instruction and adapt to changing educational landscapes. Family engagement is central; we host workshops, parent‑teacher conferences, and volunteer opportunities. Classical Charter Schools stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a community invests in its children. We invite families to join our mission and help shape the next generation of leaders.
