Our Prevention Through Outreach initiative is the cornerstone of our proactive strategy. By hosting workshops, distributing educational materials, and conducting neighborhood screenings, we empower residents to identify the subtle signs of abuse before it escalates. Participants learn how to build safe communication habits, establish personal safety plans, and connect with the resources available through CASA Pinellas.
The Advocacy for Survivors program provides comprehensive legal support, from filing protective orders to navigating custody battles. Our experienced attorneys and legal advocates work side‑by‑side with survivors, ensuring they understand their rights, deadlines, and options. We also coordinate with law enforcement to guarantee that survivors receive the protection and respect they deserve.
Through the Support Through Volunteering pathway, community members become vital allies in the recovery process. Volunteers assist in shelter operations, offer peer‑support circles, and help coordinate case‑management activities. Each volunteer receives training that equips them with the empathy and knowledge necessary to provide compassionate, non‑judgmental support.
In addition to direct services, CASA Pinellas operates a Family Justice Center—a one‑stop shop where survivors can access medical evaluation, legal consultation, and psychosocial counseling all under one roof. The center is staffed by professionals who specialize in domestic‑violence cases and are dedicated to providing a safe, confidential, and culturally competent environment. Together with our 24‑hour hotline and Thrift Store, these services create a comprehensive safety net for every individual in Pinellas County.

With a dedicated 24‑hour Domestic Violence Hotline staffed by trained crisis counselors, we guarantee immediate assistance to anyone in distress, regardless of time or location.
