Perhaps you would like to explore Hindu temples and Buddhist stupas in Kathmandu as a part of your volunteering experience in Nepal.\n\nWe offer the chance for our volunteers to contribute their skills and enjoy the experiences these beautiful countries have to offer.\n\nGap Encounter can assist you to plan your gap year travel, volunteering and work experience. Build your own personal skills and experience with an internship, medical placement or training.",

      "service_description": "Gap Encounter is today run by Jess, Chris, and Esther in the UK, who are helped by many wonderful people in various exciting locations.\nJess graduated in 2008, and then went travelling. In Australia she met Chris, who was trying to figure out what to do after having left a City job. They realised they liked each other and also travelling, and they have spent loads of time since seeing the world. A year or so wandering from Cape Town to California, Peru to St. Petersburg, and of course to Nepal and Cambodia, proved informative, educational, and occasionally entertaining.\nEsther, originally from Adelaide, Australia, now based in London, is Gap Encounter's long-time guru on all matters Nepalese. She and Jess are old friends, and met in the tea houses of Kathmandu.",
