Founded in 1998 by two visionary Christian women, the center began as a safe haven for children in the Olathe community. Co‑owners Laurie Rundberg and Beverly Smith brought together 45 years of childcare expertise, a passion for faith‑based education, and a commitment to serving families of all backgrounds. Their collaborative leadership created a culture of respect, love, and continuous learning, both for the children and the teaching staff.
Our daily schedule blends structured lesson plans with self‑directed play, ensuring children engage in story time, music, movement, and Spanish language exposure while also enjoying moments of quiet reflection and Bible stories. Circle time gathers the entire classroom for shared learning, fostering a sense of community, cooperation, and mutual respect. Teachers continuously assess each child’s progress and tailor instruction to support growth and inclusion, including specialized care for children with special needs.
