CPA Review - CPA Exam ReviewNearly 41,000 people fail the CPA exam every single year. But you don't have to be one of them. And let's face it, in times like these - you really can't afford to be one of them. Now, don't get me wrong. It takes hard work to pass the CPA exam.
I'm Dr. Phil Yaeger, CPA and founder of Yaeger CPA Review.
When I took the CPA exam in 1974, there weren't a whole lot of CPA exam prep options. I did take a review course and managed to pass the exam, but my experience wasn't a good one. I knew there was room for a smarter approach.
I started by looking for better CPA Review material to teach from. Once I found it, I decided to start my own CPA Review course, and give the candidates in the Washington, DC area an alternative to what I had endured.
So in 1977, I started Yaeger CPA Review to get to the heart of what CPA candidates really need to know to sit for the exam with confidence - and earn their CPAs.
Over the years, our live course evolved from 100% live teaching in the classroom, to a video course, to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals like you - but our philosophy never changed: We not only teach students WHAT to do, and HOW to do it, but also, WHY to do it. Remember, at Yaeger, we are the "Y" course. Teaching you WHY you are doing what you are doing to get the right answer. We don't believe in memorizing old questions without understanding the concepts behind the answers.
Today, there are many CPA review courses to choose from. Some are slick and quick with deep pockets, pumping money into their marketing machine rather than improving course material and finding motivating instructors. Others just don't know enough to "cut to the chase" for you, so you're stuck wasting precious study hours on topics you don't need and won't be tested.
