Brad Stephens grew up in Cassville, Georgia and his family has been entrenched in Bartow County for many years. He learned the value of hard work, sacrifice and community working at Cass Grocery during his childhood. At an early age, he learned the importance of listening and understanding the needs of others – the years of hauling feed, pumping gas, sweeping floors, and stocking shelves still impact him today. After graduating from Cass High School, Brad attended the University of Georgia. There, he became a brother in Sigma Phi Epsilon and was accepted into the renowned Grady College of Journalism. He earned his degree in advertising and was a guest columnist for the Red and Black newspaper. Brad earned his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law in 2006 and practiced with a small firm in Athens, Georgia that specialized in criminal and family law until 2008. Brad moved to Cartersville and practiced with a medium-sized firm with an emphasis on bankruptcy law until 2012 when he moved to New York City and worked in appellate litigation with a consulting firm in Manhattan. Brad returned to Cartersville in 2015 and formed the Law Office of Brad Stephens, P.C. He brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience back to Bartow County and all of northwest Georgia.
