Madeline Meckes focuses her practice on corporate law, civil litigation, wills and trusts, and Title IX investigations. Madeline graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 2020. Prior to joining the Irving Law Firm, Madeline clerked for the Honorable Petula C. Metzler and the Honorable Steven S. Smith in the Prince William County Circuit Court. While attending law school, Madeline interned with Amazon Web Services, the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee, and the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General. Throughout these internships, she focused on building her experience in the areas of administrative, regulatory, and compliance law. During law school, Madeline was an Articles Editor of the George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal, President of the Mason Sports and Entertainment Law Association, Research Assistant to Professor Caroline Cecot, and a member of Moot Court Board. Prior to attending law school, Madeline worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of State. She attended Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she was captain of the varsity soccer team and graduated cum laude in 2009.
