Our philosophy is simple; when your child has a special interest, they will be eager to learn about it. Rather than a “one size fits all” curriculum, our teachers create lesson plans that focus on specific NY state standards and benchmarks set by our curriculum coordinator. Our methods include finding out what motivates a child to learn while fostering and enhancing each child’s natural curiosity to explore the world around them. At JACE DayCare and Early Learning Program the idea that “education is not a chore”, but a natural process is the most important lesson we hope to teach our students. Every lesson plan created is reviewed and approved by our curriculum coordinators.
We believe in a partnership with our parents and we continuously self-assess and look for ways to improve. We make communication with you a priority by providing you with an online parent portal in which you have direct access to your child's information, billing and much more. Our newly installed phone system allows you direct access to your child's classroom and teacher throughout the day; we know as working parents your time is precious. We provide social media sites for you to stay connected with events, activities, and information that are taking place at JACE. In addition, we have a communication board that displays all important announcements centrally located within the reception area. We have an open-door policy and we welcome you to stop in and join your child at any time.
